It is the whole set of after-sales services, processes, and strategies that companies adopt to keep the customers staying for a longer period. Customer success includes processes like customer onboarding, product adoption, strategies for customer engagement, account management, upsell and cross-sell approaches, churn management, account renewal planning, customer surveys, advocacy, etc.
A relationship-focused customer success strategy creates less customer churn, lower acquisition costs, and creates more income opportunities.
