The Challenges

There were many challenges while working on this project. Especially, it was challenging to jot down their requirements for they want to do customization of the business solution that we provide on their own. Following are some other challenges:

  • The subscription plans of View from the Top are varying. They offer subscriptions for men (ISI Men) and women (ISI Women). So, a system was to be designed that could manage subscriptions for men and women.
  • Other than subscription plans for men and women, they also charge an upfront fee to join ISI. So, the subscription management system was to be developed to handle hybrid billing.

The Requirements

The following requirements were identified after a lot of meetings with the team of View from the Top.

  • A subscription billing system to manage ISI Men and ISI Women
  • This system should also automate the hybrid billing model.
  • A subscription management solution to handle proration (change in the subscription plan) as well.

The Solutions

After identifying the requirements, here are the solutions being offered to the View from the Top team:

  • A subscription management software with Stripe integration so that both billing and payments are managed seamlessly.
  • A software that can also handle proration without any mistakes in billing and invoicing.
  • A dunning management system.

Implementation

Implementation of the requirements of View from the Top was not easy because they needed a subscription management system from us, yet they wanted to customize it on their own. Therefore, team SubscriptionFlow meticulously managed this project. Integrations with the payment gateways were done and the system was checked so that it can fulfil all their recurring billing and payment processing requirements.
